Welcome to the new site

Hello Fowl fans,
Welcome to the new site. It is tres snazzy, non? I think there should be plenty here to keep you busy for the time being. Check back for regular updates on the blog. Is this a blog? I am old fashioned and can’t help thinking of it as a diary. Anyway- latest news- just finished the next book. Not an Artemis but very exciting anyway. Sort of a historic sci fi actioner (with comedy). Next project Artemis 6.
Talk soon.
Eoin.

    I got to meet you on your tour and I read HALF MOON INVESTIGATIONS not long after seeing your show. As I was reading the book, I noticed what my 8th grade English teacher called ‘a writer’s voice’. That is, I could hear your voice telling the story as I read it. I thought it was pretty cool how all that played out and the ending left me wanting more!
    Anyway, great new website, I’ll be checking back for more news!

  3. 3 Ash Marie

    I adore your books mr.colfer! Especially the Artemis Fowl series. My sister and I are huge fans of Arty. I also love your other books. Your new website is awesome; especially the purple and green, nice. You are a great author, and I hope to write humour and action (which I find really hard to do) as well as you someday. P.S. My sister and I are twins so we are psyched that Artemis now has twin siblings!

  4. 4 elaine

    luv ur books…specially artemis fowl and i hope artemis and minerva hook up in ur next one! ur a great author! :)

  5. 5 Elaine Holmes

    Nice to meet you, Eoin! (You can’t hear me but I’ve pronounced well xD) I’m a spanish reader of your Artemis’ books, and I’ll be waiting for the new sci fi book patiently.

    Good luck with Artemis -you’re gonna need it, I presume. That boy doesn’t give you any holidays, don’t he?

    I like the design of the website and the blog too; it’s a modern way to comunicate with your readers. And I love purple. Looks great.

    Salam!

  6. 6 Savvy

    Ooooh, what’s the name of the new book?

    Can’t wait for 6th Artemis Book!!!!!!

  7. 7 Artemisia Fowl

  8. 8 Cassie

    Glad to see that the new site is up and running! It looks fantastic.

    I’m excited to hear that you’ve finished another book. I can’t wait to read it! And I’m really looking forward to the 6th Artemis Fowl, too. I know it’ll be great!

    Now before I go explore this site some more, I must say:
    You’re an absolutely amazing author! I love to read your books. You’re a real inspiration to wannabe writers like myself. :)

  9. 9 Stine

    Great new site! I can’t wait for the next Artemis Fowl book. Sad that it’s the last, though. I hope you will someday find your way to Denmark. Maybe when the next AF book comes out?

  10. 10 Matt

    Loving the new site, Eoin, and anything you produce will obviously be bought, devoured and re-douvered instantly!

    Matt – AFC

  11. 11 Hello

    Great! I had been waiting for this ever since Artemis hacked and destroyed the other site. :P Congratulation for your new blog, mister Colfer. It looks very good. :D

  12. 12 Ella

    Oh! The new site looks so good! :D I’m a Finnish reader of your books, and gotta say that I love them all. I’ve been reading them over and over again.. You’re my all-time favourite writer!

  13. 13 Julia

    Hello, Eoin. I’m a Spanish reader like Elaine Holmes. I love your books. They’re great. I’m The greatest Holly’s fan over the world.
    I’ve got some questions:
    Will Arty fall in love with Holly or Minerva?
    Are we going to see Arty as a men?
    Will Juliet come back, please?
    I hope a very good sixth book.
    Answer me, please.

  14. 14 a Artmis Fowl fan

    I so, so, very, very absoloutly LUV ur artemis fowl series!!! I am so glad I get 2 write to u! I just want u 2 know that u have millions of fans like me… I can’t wait 4 the movie and 6th book 2 come out!!! Most of all- in order 2 get into the second level password, do u have 2 decode any thing, or do u just have 2 wait?

  15. 15 Cody

    This is a very cool new site. Your most recent fowl book was quite a cliff-hanger. Can’t wait for the next installment!

  16. 16 Dewy

    Hi- I”m really looking forward to reading your next book! (Hoo-ray Ar-te-mis Ne-ver Di-es!)And post in the diary more often :)

    (PS. Really interesting that your brother has dark hair and yours is lighter coloured.)

  17. 17 Zoe

    I’m glad to hear you’ll be starting the next Artemis Fowl book, I practically devoured the last one. There’s not much else to do but read and do homework in the middle of a northern British Columbia winter, and you can guess which one I usually preffer! Haha
    (To be honest, I had to take a month’s break right in the middle of the book, I was busy writing my own NaNoWriMo novel!)

    Do keep up the good work, I might be checking back here occassionally. :)

  18. 18 eoin

    I am so glad you all like the site. At the moment I am trying to set up a charity Artemis t-shirt thing called Fowl-is-Fair, to help out with an orphanage in Liberia. Hopefully that will be ready to go by the Summer.
    Trying to answer a few questions-
    I don’t know about the love question with Artemis. Probably not Holly.
    I have thought about doing a grown up Arty book- but not for a few years.
    Juliet might be back in book six.
    Hello Matt!
    All wannabe writers- keep at it- most of your friends will give up- you keep the faith.
    Fowl wishes,
    Eoin.

  19. 19 Mithril

    I love your books! I’m reading now the Lost Colony, and I thinks it’s the best!

  20. 20 artimes fan

    i hope the 6th is as awsome as the rest,good luck

  21. 21 Eledor the Mad Reader

    I apologise for my bad English but I am French and crazy about Artemis!
    I think your series is one of the best I have ever read and I look impatiently for the sixth (although the fifth has not come out yet in France). I directly read it in English!
    The end of the last book is fanatctic and I can’t wait until the nextt one!

    Little note: your site looks like Anthony Horowitz’s one. I saw that is the same corporation that made both of them. Is it volunteer or not?

  22. 22 artimis wow!

    hi, im the gr8ist artimis fowl reader a live and i just want 2 say tht i really want artimis and minerva or holly to full in luv or som thin

    SPOILERS REMOVED

  23. 23 MoneyMan2010mn

    Eoin, the site redesign was a wonderful idea, and the forums were an even greater idea. Was this idea thought of by the great Artemis Fowl creator? ;)

    You’re a great author and a very generous one too regarding the charity idea.

  24. 24 Kasey

    I love the Artemis Fowl series! Mulch is my favorite, beside Artemis
    of course, and I even got my sixty year old grandmother to read the books. She is now Artemis crazy also! I love all of the books but I have to say that Eternity Code was my favorite.
    —-I can’t fathom where people come up with the Arty-Holly romance thing even if they were not seventy years apart and different species!

  25. 25 artemis fowl

    My real name is Artemis fowl it is one of the many reasons i enjoyed ur book. i bought all ur books by working hard and i cant wait for the next one. also will arty and Juliet be in love or will it be arty and holly so many questions and so long a wait!!!!! one more question when is the expected time to when the next Artemis fowl book is to be published

  26. 26 Nicole_artist

    Hello. I am from FanGathering, yet another website devoted to the Irish criminal mastermind we all love, for some reason. The owner of the site MichaelM, has done a wonderful job creating it. We have a Fanart gallery, of which I am a proud and regularly commenting member of, a Forum, with practically everything in it, a FanFiction gallery, which is very good, and many other things which just make the website more spectacular. And no, I am not MichaelM in disguise. XD He lives in Northern Ireland, far away from myself, I live in Australia. And unfortunately for me, there is no Fowl Friday. *weeps*

    I just realised there’s another member of FG here. Oops.

    Now, after rattling on about FG I will actually say something more relative to the blog.

    I love the new website, and if I had a better computer *cough*Artemis’s*cough* I would be able to view the videos. I will have to wait until I’m on another one…

    Eoin, you are my absolute favourite author. All others pale in comparison to you. Your writing style is unique, and when something is even slightly humorous I smile as I see the little things you add to make it even better.

    ~Nicole_artist~

  27. 27 D_McOisín

    Hi Eoin….. i really love your books and the fact that they’re mostly set in Ireland…. Cmon IRELAND!!!
    Anyway i’d jus like to say that your two Benny books are your best, in my opinion…… i read them a long time before artemis fowl and just adore them…… i know you’ll probably never write about him again because it’s all kind of in the past…… but will you ever write anything like that again? But i suppose that would be only be targeted at Irish people and wouldn’t really have a worldwide audience. Anyway, love the new site and keep writing !!!

    Éire go deo……

  28. 28 Kristen

    Hi, Mr. Colfer! I like the updated site. I can’t wait to read your next book! Is it a young adult one? I’m sure I’ll still read it if it’s a children’s one, though. Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony was really good, and I can’t wait for the next. Are you going to be writing a The Supernaturalist sequel? That’s my all-time favorite of your books. You must have a large audience, because I’m from the U.S. Just wanted to say hi!

  29. 29 Jake Caron

    Hi Eoin I have just read your newest book The Lost Colony.It was awseome.I could not put the book down.I read it in a day.I have read every single Artemis Fowl Book there is.Also who are the twins?Is there going to be another Artemis Fowl book?Hope so.All your books are good.They are the best I have ever read.I dont realy like love stories but I hope Minerva and Artemis fall in love.I can’t wait until the next Artemis Fowl comes out.Hope it’s soon can’t wait.

    I´ve read all Artemis Fowl-books and “The wish list” in German and I´m going to read every book in English. But, one question:
    In your sixth book Artemis Fowl and the lost colony, I asked myself how Bludwin and N´zall could attack the wizards, because there stood, that they were flying 7 meter above the ground (in the German version)?

    PS: If you call Artemis Fowl, who´s your ideas, genial, you also call yourself genial. or isn´t it

  31. 31 Felicity Fowl

    hello eoin
    your books are very interesting…i really enjoyed reading them
    hope the next artemis fowl book is going to be more breath-taking!!
    good luck!!

  32. 32 fantasygirl

    hi mr colfer , I really love your new site (purple rulez!)
    I haven’t seen any belgian fans here , so maybe I’m the first one (jeej for me). I think your artemis books are the best I’ve ever read and I’m sorry that much of your other books aren’t translated to dutch. The official dutch site of artemis fowl only goes to the 2 book and that stupid because this is the first year I get English at my school. Guess I have to study some more. ( Latin isn’t helping in English lessons).
    You’re the best author ever !!

  36. 36 Elisabeth

    Hello there! C’est tres, tres snazzy, certainement! Haha! One of my best memories is going to see your Fairies, Fiends and Flatulence tour when you were in Liverpool. I wouldn’t be surprised if you used up all of your ‘funny’ on your books and tours. Wasting it all on us fans. Tisk, tisk we are so selfish…I don’t know if I am lucky enough for you to remember me but, just in case, I am still proud to be Irish. Well, two thirds Irish at least. Keep up the amazing work and I’ll look forward to Book 6!

  37. 37 hermes

    You’ve probably got a lot of people saying that their your biggest fan, and I’m among them. I’ve read all the arty books more times than I can count, and I’ve read almost all your other books.
    I heard from artemis-fowl.com that at a book signing you said that trouble will play a main part in book 6 and that there would be some holly/trouble romance. Is this true or just some random rumor.
    The new site looks great! I can’t wait to read your next book

  38. 38 Beetle juice

    Hello Eoin,
    Like many other people i have met on the internet i love your books to the point of obsession! For example i started reading Artemis when i was 9 and to date have read the first book 19 times-i could say i almost know it off by heart-I love the way that you keep the suspense going and add in little twists just when you think you know it all.

    I love this new site (and the colour!) and how it allows us readers to actually talk to you even though some of us live on the other side of the world (Australia for me). And i’d like to say that my favourite character is Foaly-He is very unappreciated, i feel sorry for him and according to some fan fic sites he isn’t a character because unlike all the other characters there is no way to say he is in your story! I’m glad to hear that he is socialising (does Caballine’s name have anything to do with the scientific name for horses, equus caballus?)

    Good luck with your next book-I’ll be around waiting for it to come out in Australia. Beetle juice!

  39. 39 FunDa

    Ah … Finally ……
    :)

    And I didn’t know it’s pronounced Owen. I used to think your name was pronounced Eeeyoin or something … ;)

    Now thanks to this blog or journal or diary, I know.

    Very impressive . I love it ….

    I’ll be back …

  45. 45 LOLA and EMMERS

    hey! wats up? emmers and i (lola) are HUGE fans of the Artemis Fowl books!!!! we can not wait untill the 6th book! we are sooooooo excited we feel like we are going to puke! emmers and i have learned how to read the Gnommish letters at the bottom of your previous books! they are soo much fun to read! we love to show off to our friends and sometimes we try to write secret notes to each other, but i’m a really bad drawer, emmers is real good though at drawing. anyway we are just so excited and spaztic about your new book! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! were wondering if you could name future characters by our names,lola and eve. although it is unlikley that you would we still love your books. and we cant wait untill we know who the twins are!!! this is so cool. emmers and i wrote this letter to you which unfortunatly we were to lazy to send but this is what it said. Dear Mr. Eoin Colfer, My name is Eve. My friend Lola and I are writing to you to tell you that we are absolutly OBSESSED with your books, especially the Artemis Fowl series. We’ve read all 5 books so far, and we’re dying to find out what happens next. Hopefully your nex book will come out soon or else we may experience “Artemis withdrawl symptoms”. Your books have inspired us to write our own stories (even though we’re just 12 years old). keep up the good work
    Your biggest fans,
    Lola and Eve
    p.s. if you introduce any new characters to the series will you name them after us?

    yes that was our letter and we have something to add. we say that your imagination is a very rare one that can make anything come to life and we admire it so encreadibly much even though we’re not sure if what we just said made any sense. you hav inspired Eve and I to do many things we would not normaly do ( dont worry they are good things that we do ) and more. thank you sooo much for writing your imagination down for us to read and absorb into ours and make you part of our lives.

    thank you so much and more,
    Lola and Eve ,

  46. 46 Justine

    Hello. I love your books and I think that you are an incredible author. Artemis Fowl is my favorite series, but I also enjoy The Wish List. I want to be an author when I grow up, any tips? Keep up the suberb work!

  48. 48 Hannah Argyle

    Dear Mr. Colfer,
    I am a sophomore in highschool, and I have been reading your books since they came out. Even though I have read such great authors as Tolkein, Homer, Shelley, Austen, and Dickens, the Artemis Fowl books are actually the most inspiring books I have ever read. I’m not as smart as Arty, but I identify with him, and he calls me to be bolder and more adventurous during difficult times in my life. So, I thank you very much for the series which I have loved since 6th grade. I eagerly await the next book in the series, while rereading the others.
    Your fervent fan,
    Hannah Argyle

  49. 49 Casey

    I just love the Artemis Fowl books! It is so neat that you are writing a new one!!!!! I am just finishing the Eternity Code and it is sooo good :-} :-) :-D !!!!!!!!!!!!

  50. 50 Genius in Disguise

    Dear Mr. Colfer,
    I am a devoted fan and a fictional inventor (technologys not up-to-date with me :) ). First of all I would like to thank you on sending Juliet here (the U.S.) at the end of book #3. We’re glad to have here with us! Second of all, I have an idea for a new fairy/faery (which one?!?) gadjet for book #6: it is a ear piece that is disguised as acne in your ear. It’s speaker is also in such a high pitch that only fairys/faerys (its so confusing) animals with keen hearing (like dogs) and humans under 30 can hear it. If you could put that in the book I would be very happy but if not, I understand. I was also wondering if the casting for the movie is done or if there might be a spot for a little faery crying over their lost cell phone? Thank you so much for your books and I hope book #6 is out soon!Good luck with the movie!
    ~~~A Genius in Disguise~[=
  51. 51 Chandler
    Dear Eoin Colfer,
    You are my favorite author! Are there going to be any more Artemis Fowl books? I would like to see more of Holly, Butler, Mulch, Artemis, No. 1, Qwan, Minerva, and also the centaur genius Foaly. Oh, hows his girlfriend?
    Yours truely,
    Chandler
  52. 52 Mateo
    Dear Mr Colfer:
    Is there any chance you will be writing a sequel to The Supernaturalist? I really, really, really liked the book, and the end sounded like it might set up a second book.
    Thank you for your time,
    Sincerely,
    Mateo
  53. 53 Josh
    You’re books are amazing! I can’t believe that theres going to be a 6th Artemis Fowl book. It’s true but u wont believe this but i’m older than 11 years of age and at the end of THE LOST COLONY, I actually ended up crying because it was the end. As so I thought. My favorite character is Artemis because he outwitts anyone and he never acts so dumbfounded and his personalatity is so risky but smart. I like the part in the 3rd or 5th book where Artemis and the guy who ambushes him at the resteraunt, Artemis says that phrase to him that makes him think that its his idea to go to that skyscraper and I Looooove that part in the Eternity Code where artemis and butler are outnumbered a 100 to 1 in the chances they will survive and then buter says somehin OF YORK GAVE BATTLE IN VAIN and then says RAINBOW to set off the voice ativaded bomb cus it was soooo unexpected. I love youre stlye of writing. I also like the part where artemis calls himself Stephen somethin because i read the supernaturelist and thats that kid in the book. Also, i was never and never wanted to get in to books until i read supernatureist.I was almost stuck to it but i could part with it but wen I got Artemis Fowl for Christmas, I was a Zombie almost litterally. I stayed up though the whole night finishing it off. Also don’t u hav in article in book called Guys Write For Guys Read? In Artemis Fowl, how come you metion the word NEVERTHELESS quite a bit? Not that its wrong or anything but something that was on my mind. Another thing is that im wondering what influenced u to write books with lots of action? I like how u used the name of the fairy force called Lep-Recon and how its simmalar to Leprecaun. Man, you’re writing never goes off trail like wen im reading, i can picture everything but then u never go off topic. And i can so relate cus in one of your books, i’ve never seen an author mention JAMES BOND! I LOVE JAMES BOND! I am so glad theres an author out there that loves the things i LOVE!!!!! Sincerely one of your greatest fans,(: JOSH
  54. 54 David
    Eoin,
    I wanted to let you know I very much enjoyed your books. Most recently , I read The Half Moon Investigations. Are we going to see anymore of those?
    Thanks,
    David
  55. 55 iesnoth
    Is there going to be a seventh book? (please say yes, please say yes!)
  56. 56 Josh
    Hey! It’s me again! Josh. Mister Colfer, I’ve jus got a few questions to ask about the 6th book. First, what will the title of the book be or is it a secret?Second, will there be any new characters? Third, will butler retire from his job cus he’s in his 50’s?Fourth, will Artemis finally try to focus on spending time with his family and stop thinking about the family buisness?Fifth, will Opal escape prison? Sixth, will anybody be killed in this story? seventh, will Holly be a soldier in the force or a force again? And last but not least, will we(readers) be able to translate any codes in this book? I know that’s alot of questions and that will probably answer others questions and i know u already heard about the question artemis and minerva. Well u probably won’t answer all these questions because it could give away the story but if u could atleast answer 2 or 3 than that would be great. Oh, and one more question. Is D’Arvit a swear word in fairy language? So thanks again and now I’m reading the series all over again. The thing is I probably would’ve read the whole series like 10 times but at my school,(i’m still in elementery school) when i had to but didn’t want to giv’em back to the library, as soon as i did they were gone and it’s been months and i finally got them back. I live in Canada and there’s alot of people who like the Artemis Fowl series and here, there is this Battle Of The Books contest thingys and one of the books we had to read was the 1st Artemis Fowl book in the series. When people say something is known all over the world, I kinda think there exaggerating a bit but with the Artemis Fowl series, I BELIEVE that this is no exaggeration. I bet you already knew that but you’re the kind of author that paves the road for wannabe writers and encourages them to keep going. I hope u finish the 6th book soon not jus for me but for all readers that devour your writing. Go Artemis! Sincerely, one of your greatest fans, Josh
  57. 57 Cody
    hopefully the 7th will not be the last like harry potter. I hope its a nice round number like 10 :)
  58. 58 HORSECRAZY
    i absolutely love your books. your books are amazing, i read most of them in less than a week which is really fast for me (which means they’re good). your books are so funny, when i read them i just start laughing out loud, even in class :) . i can’t wait ’til the next book.
    will the 6th Artemis book be the last? i hope not!
    is there anymore talk about the movie? i hope that it comes out soon!
    when is the next book coming out?
  59. 59 Clara
    Hedo! I have been reading a lot about questions of “will Artemis and Holly or Minerva fall in LOVE?” I don’t mean to affend, but Holly is a bit old for him and probably thinks of him as this little kid who’s got to big of a head (well, now they’re probably best of buds). I have a friend who thought of something intriguing. You all know how Minerva was asking all these questions? Go back in time with me and picture in your mind the time she vowed to make Arty her next project . . . I sense some sinister intellectual battle coming up. At least, that’s what my friend thought once she finished The Lost Colony. Oh, well, I’m probably wrong.
    Did I mention that I love you’re Arty series???
  60. 60 Al Simers
    Dear Mr. Colfer
    I must say I’ve immensely enjoyed your Artemis Fowl collection of books since I began reading them at the age of 10. I was so enthusiastic about the fact that there was a book out there that included fairies, tech. talk and of course an abundance of intellectual people. I of course immediately got to work cracking the fairy code involving the gnommish language and completed the task in a matter of two days. It was quite enjoyable. You can imagine the excitment of a ten-year-old who has just cracked a fairy code. Anyway, I continued to indulge in the Artemis Fowl books until I read The Eternity Code at the age of 12. I then proceeded to crack the eternity code which proved to be somewhat more difficult than gnommish. So difficult in fact it took me nearly a month. I’m probably wasting your time here so my point is that one of my most pronounced hobbies is cracking codes so I have two questions for you:
    1. Where do you come up with the inspiration for these codes?
    2. Will there be another one to crack in the sixth book?
    Sincerely, your greatest fan, (or at least the most intelligent) Kathryn.
    I love your new website! You’re right, it is snazzy. How do you think of all the ideas for all of the Artemis Fowl books? It must be really hard. I love the series!
    Keep up the good work, and please tell your future generations to continue the Artemis Fowl series!
    P.S. On Neopets, there os a guy who claims he is Artemis Fowl, and rather thinks like him too. Is that you? If not, the account is artemis_fowl_senior.
    My mom bought me the first Artemis Fowl book when it came out, and then lent it to someone, so I never got past the first chapter. I finally found it again about 6 months or so ago, and ended up just ordering the whole series- Didn’t want to wait and have to keep going to the store to get more. I really, really enjoy the books. Are you ever thinking about making them into movies? They’d be cute. I’m very excited about a new book coming out, that made my day. You’ve gotten yourself into a hole, you can now never stop writing the books, people have become attached. Thank you for such good reads- Have a glorious day, and forget new york, the smog will kill you, go to alaska, its breathe-taking. PROMIS!
    Hey, Eoin, can you give us some Irish? You know, write a few phrases in Irish, show the pronunciation, then tell us what it means. Pretty, pretty please? My family does a lot of travel in the States but I love Ireland and hope to one day visit it. In fact, I hope it’s the first over-seas visit I ever make.
    Eoin, I’m so glad you put the pronunciation of your name on the website! I thought it was AY-OH-IN or something.
    I can’t wait until the 6th Artemis Fowl book comes out- are you going to put it on the Artemis Fowl website? (at least the title???)
    Hey Eoin, we love your books and we were hoping, if you didn’t make the next Artemis Fowl book the end, that you write more, and in the next book, The Time Paradox, we were wondering, is Minerva in love with Artemis, we want to know because, well erm, we have a girl at our school that thinks it would be romantic if she did, plus we want to see Artemis in love XD. So tell us all you can about the next book also, and we also wanted to let you know we didnt understand the ending of the 5th book, seeing as Butler talks to his brother at Fowl mannor, and where did that come from. see ya.
    About The Supernaturalist; I know you mentioned in an interview you would like to make a sequel, and many others and I hope you will.
    http://www.readingmatters.co.uk/book2.php?id=246 – A website with people’s comments about the book; many more who would also like to see a sequel.
    After stating the above, I would like to ask a question. You set the book up perfectly for a sequel, whether you originally determined to make one or not. By providing the facts that the Arctic was to be included in a new scheme by Shine and Faustino, and the fact that Ditto can see other beings (stated to be worse than the Parasites), did you set up the book with an ending (I guess cliffhanger could be loosely applied here, as it does not provide an answer) designed to have a definite sequel, or the possibility of a sequel if the book became popular enough?
    Hope to see a sequel at some time,
    Anonymous.
    lol! I can’t believe it! I’ve been mispronouncing your name for the last two years! lol.
    I’m a big fan of AF and the Wish List (who am I kidding? It was EPIC) and I was wondering if you were working on a sequel to the Wish List…I was pretty sad to see it go…and maybe Half Moon Investigations? [puppy eyes] I heard you were going to do one, but I wasn’t sure if it was just a rumor of a hopeful fangirl…
    xD Well, talk to you soon!
    We love your books and are looking forward to the movies and cant to wait to watch them and are going together and it is going to be so much fun and cool.
    p.s.
    what does D’ Arvit mean in english plz respond.
  76. 76 Reno
    Heya Mr. Colfer how’s it hanging’?
    I have to say, of all the posts here, I think I’m the first Canadian! Just wanted to drop a note to say that I love the Artemis Fowl books and the graphic novel was amazing. However, my favourite of all your books is, hands, down, The Supernaturalist. I heard there was supposed to be a sequel and I really can’t wait for it! I cried when [SPOILER REMOVED] in the first one!! really, I was heartbroken! Anyway, when this supposed sequel gets released here in the Great White North I’m gonna blow my meager college student wage on it and I will read it front to back in class if I have to!! Lolz there, that’s for sure!
    One last thing, I heard a rumour that there was gonna be an Artemis Fowl movie? Any truth there? But speaking of movies, I am in school to make movies so if I ever have the opportunity to make a movie based on a book after I graduate, I would love to work with you on a Supernaturalist flick! Anyway, maybe next time you tour you might consider Canada? Just pack a coat, lol!
    Dear Mr.Colfer,
    I Can’t Believe I’m Talking To the author of my Favorite Books!
    I Read Artemis Fowls 1-7(Including Artemis Fowl Files).
    When I Finished The first Book I went On to The Code, And Cracked It!
    I can write in gnommish, But I only Know Two Words. One I am NOT using Anywhere, The other is “Cowpog”. I was Just wondering, Maybe Your already on this, but, I would Die for A Gnommish dictionary!
    Probably not your Biggest fan, but not your smallest.
  78. 78 Bookworm without any books
    I agree with the other people with a supernaturalist sequel. It’s a great book with a strong ending to process the story into a sequel. This series blows my mind harder than the AF series, as AF was designed for a slower paced series, The Supernaturalists prove much more satisfying than maybe three AF books together. The sequel could have a different creature instead of Parasites or involve a different battle with the Myishi Corp.
  79. 79 Louisa
    I.Love.The.Artemis.Fowl.Series- they are my favourite ever! Thank you so so much, they have given me hours, days, weeks of joy and unstoppable laughter. I wonder how you managed to get in the briliant, crazy ideas, the fantastic plot, the wonderfully unique and un-stereotyped charectors and fabulous wit into one book!
    But, please, please… Holly and Artemis go so well together. I was so happy when she kissed him, please times that happiness by a BILLION and put them together. Upon re-reading the series when I had read T.P., I could see so much chemistry- it would be unbearable if you didn’t use that. Please! It would make the perfect ending to the series. Not that you should stop any time soon, just as a start to the ‘happily ever after’-type-thing.
    Please! From your most dedicated fan,
    Louisa
