Looks like the test was a success. Yay! You’re video blogging. That is beyond awesome. =)
Good Morning Eoin;
I am a grandmother. My grandson gave me your book to read. It is the first Artemis Fowl, I believe, and as I get into the story I am sure I have seen a movie with the same plot line in its opening scenes.
Question: Was this book ever made into a movie? If so, let me know. I would love to give this to my grandson for a birthday gift. He has read the book several times and I know he would love to have a copy of the movie if it exists.
Thank you,
Ooh yay! Please do update regularly! Video-blogging seems better than write-blogging, because it seems more personal, you know? A better connection to your fans
Heheh, I have to agree Savvy… you should try and get to an FFF tour if Eoin does it again, it was so funny last time. Flippin’ multi-talent … dish it out!
Matt
Congradulations on getting the video blog to work! YEAH! This is AWSOME! Like savvy said, it seems more personal. It’s so neat, it’s not like an interview that we get to watch but it’s You talking to US! For us fans, that REALLY cool.
Yo-Yo
I like that you’ve decided to start video blogging. So cool.
…well, I wanted to say more, perhaps something brilliant and clever, but seeing as I can’t think of anything else to say, I’ll leave it at that.
Great that you’ve started video bloging. much better way to talk.
ha thats really brilliant!!! i hope you keep doing it!!
This is amazing! =) It really helps us connect more with you! Espescially people living in places you don’t tour! Hope to see more!
I like the written blog better, that´s just because I understand it much better, cause I´m german and not very used to English. But in general the video blog is a nice idea, it really seems more personal.
Eoin, I must say something that I’m sure you hear all the time, but I couldn’t help noticing it while I watched the video… you have beautiful eyes x)
Cool, a video blog.
I always considered graphic novels to be comic books but I could be wrong. Have you ever visited the country in America? I live in South Carolina and I think it is the most beautiful place but thats only because of the trees. Douglas Adams is pretty cool.
its uhh…too bad that I can’t see any of those things. I may know alot about computers but I certainly can’t afford top quality computers. =/ (Sometimes I wonder if you understand these smilies that we put out….For a hint: Tip your head to the side and notice that the equal sign looks like eyes and the slash looks like a mouth thats dissapointed. Funny how us youngings do it naturally and expect everybody to know what we mean.)
I’m sure the video is nice though.
Wow coolies! The video blog is tres cool! I’d like to see more of them also!!
This is the first time I post on your cool updated site, I’m loving the purple mwuha!
I love your books Eoin they’re amazing! I have almost driven my friends to suicide as I talk about your books so often…
Myself and my friend just can’t wait for the graphic novel here in England, we are HUGE fans of Artemis Fowl and Cosmo Hill!!!
All The Best!!!
Fan Forever

I’m super excited about the next book coming out. At first when I finished the fifth book I thought that was going to be it, but there was still so many unanswered question which I won’t name because I want to make this a short a possible. But I was wondering how is Artemis going to deal with is new siblings? what about The Butler’s and his Mom and Dad’s life? (BUTLER RULES!), are Artemis and Minerva going to become boyfriend/girlfriend? What about the LEPrecon team(Foaly, Mulch, Holly, etc.)? And what in the world is Artemis going to do with magic? Also I’m glad, Mr. Colfer, that you got your first video blog up. That was really cool. I hate having to come to this site and see that I’ve missed something interesting. And I’m really excited about the graphic novel for the Fowl series is coming out. I can’t wait! I always pictured Artemis being this very cute, very cocky, vampire like boy and Butler being super tall and buff with his cool suits packed with weapons. But anyway I hope you continue your video blogs because ther are fantastic and I’m really, really, looking forward to your new book.
Peace.
Hello Eoin,
I just found this website… I think it’s awesome that you’re video-blogging! I’m a big fan of yours, I have read all your books in my native language, Finnish, and also in English. I think they’re better in English, though… I heard that Artemis Fowl 6 starts in Helsinki harbour and I’m very exited about that
Sara
Oh, that’s awesome. It should be a great way to get information out to the fans who want it most. Do you think there’s any chance of a short reading from the book in one of these blogs?

Hola!
Soy de España y me encantan los libros de Artemis Fowl que aquà también son muy famosos.
Me gustarÃa saber si Mr, Colfer va a venir a España.
Hello!
I’m spanish and I loven Artemis Fowl’s books and here, in Spain, are very famous.
I want to know if Mr. Colfer is going to visit Spain.
(sorry, my english isn’t very well)
I agree with Elizabeth. I tried watching the movie blog but, I don’t know, something didn’t work and it just blacked out and froze. Phooey!
Oh, love the “Fowl wishes” and such.
Aaah! Brain freeze (not as in cold headache). I can’t seem to think at 10:30 PM. To prove my point, I forgot what to do after writing this and my sibling had to remind me to Submit.
