I’d just go ahead and laugh. My six yr old cousin wanted to know what ‘sexy’ meant after seeing my ‘Reading is Sexy’ pin. I had to explain right there in front of her parents. We were at an arts and crafts store and the best answer I could come up with was the typical martha stewart: “It’s a …good thing”. I got a few weird looks from her and her parents and my parents but it got me off the hook.
