Eoin gave a full length interview to John Kelly on RTE’s “The View” programme last night. You can watch the full interview on the RTE site by going to this page and clicking on “Watch the Entire Show”. This video is in RealPlayer format so you will need the free RealPlayer software to watch the show.
‘An homage both to the 19th-century science fiction of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, and to the superheroes of Marvel and DC comics, Colfer’s latest brims with boy appeal. Artemis Fowl fans will flock to this novel, and the polished, sophisticated storytelling here deserves an even wider audience than that bestseller. Conor Broekhart’s superpower is his brain, and he uses his smarts to fight tyranny. A tour de force.’ – Publishers Weekly
Check the updated Airman page for details on preordering what will surely be the most exciting book of 2008 and also for news of a competition to give away 12 exclusive preview copies of the book.
Here’s another one from ExpoTV. Ashley(?) doesn’t like Artemis! Well that’s fair enough, we’re all entitled to our opinions….but would you trust somebody that chooses to wear THAT shirt! : )
Her’s a bit of fun! Found while digging through the site statistics. ExpoTv is a review site where anybody can post a video review of almost anything. There’s quite a few of Eoin’s books reviewed and they range from the daft to the ridiculous. In this one we learn that Eoin Colfer is NOT his real name!!!
The London MCM Expo show is without a doubt the premier Movie Comic & Media show for the UK!
