Okay… I’m a big fan of Artemis Fowl, but come on… I would be very disappointed indeed if Roald Dahl’s Charlie didn’t win this. Let’s face it, Dahl is kind of the godfather of modern children’s books.
So far, so good. Artemis Fowl is very much in the lead.
By the way, thanks for posting the pronunciation of your name in the banner xD My friend and I were having a debate as to how to pronounce it. She won.
Eline, yes all the books up for nomination are fantastic so hopefully fans will discover some classics.
Things are looking good for our favorite criminal mastermind! Not only does Artemis Fowl have a 50% lead on the second place right now, it also has more votes than all five other books combined! Way to go, everybody, and let’s keep it up!

i love dalh’s books so… i would be happy if ARTEMIS FOWL got first place and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY got second place or visa versa
honestly, what book up there – or any book EVER – compares with Artemis Fowl? In reality? Tell me where to vote so I can make sure justice is done in the world!! (btw, why doesn’t Artemis just rig this competition? I’m sure he’d figure out a way! lol)
and Hattie . . . I TOTALLY AGREE!! Artemis Fowl books must keep coming!! Does anyone know what number 8 is about?? I keep expecting Opal to get back into the picture – I mean, where the heck is Opal #2 hiding all this time? And why isn’t she DOING anything to free her future self, D’Arvit!?
I kinda know what the 8th boOk is about. They didnt really give that much info so it is when Artemis has to make a choice between being a criminal master mind or become a good person. BTW… This is the last book.
