Charlie from Bramhall was kind enough to send us his review of The Time Paradox. As the book has not yet been released in the UK and Ireland we’ve just edited a little bit to make sure there are no spoilers - it makes for more fun reading this way!!! : )
For those who have already read the book you can try and work out the missing words marked ***********
Hello,
My name is Charlie.
I am part of a book reviewers group based in Bramhall, UK who gets to to read proofs of books.
When the Time Paradox arrived, i was ecstatic! the next book in a wonderful series, for me to read now!
i immediately started reading it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has great twists and really mislead you when ******************. The book easily captured my attention and as i read further it got more and more interesting. At the end in the *********must have been my favourite part though, *********** having tricked ****** with… ***************! That was a very clever and unforeseen trick.
I also liked your use of ************* and current ***************. Your use of the ********************** was very interesting as that could soon become a reality.
the book ended well but even so i was wanting more. Will you write more? It would be a travesty if you didnt!
I am sorry to say that the time Paradox has just about managed to knock Airman off my the spot of favourite book. It seems with every new release your writing gets better and better.
Please keep writing and keep doing tours.
I have attached a picture of me with the book and my Desktop background i made for my computer!
Thank you so much for being the greatest Children’s Author ever!
Thanks again,
Charlie

Whats with all the blanks?! Okay, now I really can’t wait for the next Artemis Fowl adventure. I’m so excited and hope to hear more good things about the book. And hoping Mr. Colfer will write more Artemis Adventures
Thanks for the review. I’m looking forward to this book’s release - unfortunately, I have to wait even more before it gets translated in Finnish.
AAAAAARGH!
this is a clever ploy to make sure we all pre-order the book. congratulations.
Of course not Candy …
I’ve read The Time Paradox too, and I have to say that it is absolutely fantastic.
Any fan of Artemis will have had an order for months, surely? Just to think, I nearly didn’t read past book one, and now I’m besotted with the young criminal. Even with time travel, he’s too young for me.
Jyri, try reading it in English. It’s not difficult. As a Finn you might enjoy the **** bit, where I personally believe Eoin got it slightly wrong. Finns don’t do that!
Ahhh ! I have pre-ordered the book and I cant wait for it to get here !
I am so excited. By the way, does anybody know how long it will take for the book to arrive if you pre-ordered it ?
it’s an amazing read. i loved it.
I just finished it myself and loved it. I’m already desperate for a new one
Just finished the book myself. It was friggrn awesome
OMG I can’t wait! Artemis rocks!
I’m a Taiwanese(Taiwan’s in East Asia if you don’t know)and I simply love Eoin Colfer’s books despite I have to wait for a unbearably looong time for the books(New releases are old when they finally find a way into my local bookstore)
I accidentally stepped on a lot of spoilers on wiki for TPP… I totally freaked out when I found out that the synopsis was a bit too detailed. People should put spoiler warnings before they start typing, holy cow! That was an unpleasant experience and I surely won’t enjoy the book as much as I originally should…Grr! But still it didn’t dampen my anticipation for the book!
Thanks for all the comments guys, i really appreciate it!
Any of you who have read the book, did you enjoy it? What was your favourite part?
Thanks to bookwitch for lending me the book!
Thanks again guys,
Charlie
THis book was awesome, your right its terrific I couldn’t put it down!
Thank You Eoin Colfer for such entertaining book!!
Wow, that book was AWESOME!!!!!!! It’s currently my favorite. I’d like to say what my favorite part was, but that’d spoil it. Thank you for writing it!!!! I really hope you write more! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
I just finished the book, seeing as it only came out a few days ago here in the US. My friend says she didn’t like it as much as the rest of the series… says that Eoin Colfer’s style had changed. She said that throughout the beginning it sounded as though he was “trying” to be funny.
I completely disagree.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it rests proudly next to the rest of the series on my bookshelf. The tricks and twists had me gasping, yelling, ah-ing and oo-ing the whole way. I even cried about twice during it. The ending was superb, as usual, and had me totally blown away, hoping for a sequel. We can’t have deranged Pixies running around in a different time, can we?
I can’t wait/ i hope for the 7th book in my favorite series!
I absolutely loved The Time Paradox- I just put it down about an hour ago after reading through the whole thing in one sitting. The one thing the fangirl in me cannot help squealing over is the kissing. The rest of me adored the clever plot twists and dialogue, and how it led, full circle, back to where the series had begun.
I just wish the next one could be out sooner than the 3 years guesstimate I saw somewhere on the internet. I almost didn’t buy this book in hardcover because I was so disappointed by Lost Colony, but I’m ecstatic that I caved now. Incrediferously fabulicious. Thanks for writing, Mr. Colfer.
