Because on the face of it, the SMeyer series is an "escape" from an otherwise boring routine - it (IMO) tries to create a world inside your mind... not unlike the AF series. This is all subjective and thus subject to opinion. |

This got kinda one-sided after SL12 left. Commeee baaaack!!!  Hehe Hi guys! I cannot believe some of you guys missed me well thats a first. I wanted to give up for a bit on this to see where it leads but it turns out I had actually kept it moderately sane lol. Oh and Sarah why would I be mad at you? I deal with annoying and insane people everyday and they are my besties and I love to be with them they rock! |

Maybe because I bring up 13-year-old-guy-from-one-of-your-classes evy few minutes  Still, no ones answered my question about why so many Eoin fans like Stephanie Meyer.
Maybe because one Eoin Colfer fan read her books, and told another Eoin Colfer fan about them, and then that Eoin Colfer fan told another Eoin Colfer fan, and so on. But that's just a hypothesis  (spelt wrong, I know ) |

I think it's not that Colfer fans love Twilight, but that Twilight fans love Colfer. Considering that Twilight has legions upon legions of [brainwashed] followers. (xDD (Jk.)) But seriously, have you SEEN how many fans Twilight has?? It's ridiculous. And at least SOME of those people have to chance upon AF, right?

I actually like Twilight, it makes me laugh.
I have a funny sense of humour and don't see the metaphorical aspect of things - I didn't see the communism is animal farm!! But then again, I hadn't studied it in depth or at all.
I like the whole series, but the fourth book was a bit tedious, I flipped forward to the last page when I was about half way through and though OMG! (actually more like wtf, but you get the idea) and had to read to find out how this happened, so, of course, the plot was revealed prematurely.
