Has anybody read Titanic 2020 or any other books by Colin Bateman? I just finished it and thought it was great. Also if anyone has read other books by Bateman which ones to you suggest as Titanic 2020 is the only one I've read.

Hmmm yeah should have put some info

Title: Titanic 2020
Author: Colin Bateman
Pages: 340 odd
About (info from back): Everyone said the original Titanic was unsinkable. Shows how much they knew. Everyone says the new Titanic is unsinkable. But there are worse things then drowning as stowaway Jimmy Armstrong and rich girl Claire quickly find out. With a mysterious, incurable disease rapidly infecting the population, being at sea seems the safest place to be...

My review: It is a great read, quite fast paced with a lot of twist and completely unsuspected turns. The way the characters bounce off each other adds to the humor. Even though it did take a while to get going you wont be able to put it down.

Note to self: Get better at reviewing things.

:)Thank you I'm thrilled...it's an exciting beginning...and I hope that there'll be an Italian version of that book.
I strongly advise you to read also "The ghost from the grand banks" by Arthur C.Clarke...It's very interesting and make you another view about the disaster and the dream to pull out of the atlantic ocean the titanic.. Smiley

I didn't read ANY books about the Titanic but some of my friends (never saw them for an hour without a book about the titanic)... I know they are interested and other stuff BUT THEIR CRAZY ABOUT IT.I've watched the James Cameron's Titanic film and it was really good! Grin My favourite part was when the ship was sinking cause it had the most action from the whole film.I love action films by the way  Grin.So... Yeah that's it...can't tell you more about the film cause if you want to know things about the film then go to a shop look on shelfs until you see a film called Titanic and then put it in your TV,click play and wathch Shocked cool instructions right?
