We were talking about it on msn, (me and smellycat), I liked it more than AF, I think it's because I warmed to Conor more.
Maybe it's because he was pure hearted from the begining, rather than bad then good.
It would make a cool film, but if they go at the same pace in which they are making AF, I may be dead by then!  Tongue

Yeah, they should film Airman...it's really the sort of story that would win awards  Undecided But if they do, it'll be a long wait until they finish with Artemis Fowl Undecided

I was gone for a while guys, but only because I didn't want to see any spoilers until I had my own copy. Yet I bought it, read it, and loved it-

AND NOW I AM BACK, AND MORE POWERFUL THAN EVER! MOOHAHAHA!

... *Ahem* Moving on, Airman was just an all around great book. It was exciting, smart and the plots left my head spinning. How great was Bonvilain? He was so insane and yet completely together. When he fooled Conor's father into believing that it was really a madman and traitor in the cell was so well thought out. He has to be one of my favourite villains, next to Opal. Love the name, by the way. ;]

Oh, the death of King Nick and Victor left me thinking, "Wow, good plot, but you flipping jerk!" I can always appreciate a good scheme. I felt so bad, when I was left thinking that Wynter had been killed, only to find out later that he was safe and well in a nice little country town. xD The height of mean, I tells ya.

My favourite part was probably in the diving bell when Conor kicks some serious Malarkey butt. Good stuff.

I haven't really gotten 'in' to a novel for a long time...but Airman...it just...SWEPT ME OFF MY FEET.

As everyone basically stated before, it combined all the perfect elements. One of Eoin's masterpieces apart from Artemis. I mean HMI, Supernaturalist, Wish List, etc, are all good and respectable, but Airman is, to me, the only one that can compete with Artemis.

As for who I like more, Artemis or Conor? Conor's got a decent heart and is intelligent—basically the perfect type. But Artemis is less indecisive I guess. Conor's smart, but not GENIUS smart. Though he's more believable as a real life person, I guess. Still, he doesn't have the dressing habits of Artemis, nor the insane phrases Arty comes up with. So I'd have to still side with Arty...though Conor comes DAMN close!

Bonvilain...a vilain who actually doesn't get the support. For instance, Snape and the Malfoys from HP still have fangirls, etc. With Bonvilain, you JUST have to hate him!

We were talking about it on msn, (me and smellycat), I liked it more than AF, I think it's because I warmed to Conor more.

Hm...I prefer evil then good. Not good then evil. But I guess you can argue either way. Evil who turn good show that at least they can CHANGE for the better. But I guess good who turn evil people can adapt to survive...*shrugs*
